INDEPENDENT STUDY
Learners who are NOT interested in joining a full programme offered by SACAR through any of its collaborations, but who may still be interested in taking up one or more individual courses on topic(s) of their choice with any of the SACAR faculty may enroll in an individual course as an independent scholar. The syllabus for such an independent study option may either be based on an existing course offered by SACAR or can be determined by the course facilitator in discussion with the learner.

MENTORED RESEARCH
Learners who desire mentoring for independent research from SACAR faculty may sign up for a given number of credits under Mentored Research category. The credits are based on the scope of their research and requirements. Learners enrolled at other universities in India or abroad may receive guidance in the development of their master's or doctoral thesis on Sri Aurobindo's thought and vision through this facility.
